I have been teaching at Paramus High School since 2001.  In fifteen plus years as a professional educator, I have worked at seven different high schools from New York to Maryland to Missouri.

Prior to teaching, I worked as a professional actor in Chicago and New York, doing film, television and stage work. I received training in acting and theater in college at Northwestern University.

I completed a masters degree in teaching at Pace University when I made the transition to education in 1992.

I have been married to my wife, Nadine, since 1982 and we have two daughters: Ramelle, a senior at Ridgewood High School, and Ilana, a freshman.

We have a dog named Fred who has been much easier to teach than any human I  have ever worked with.  But Fred, despite his advanced capabilities as a dog, still cannot read nor write.
