WELCOME TO PARAMUS
Then . . .  and Now

The name is the same. So is the geography. But there are really two towns called Paramus.
One is the Paramus of highways and shopping centers.
The other is the Paramus which, until fairly recently, was a rural farming community of 10.2 square miles, but now consists of 30,000 people who live in mostly one-family homes on some 500 tree-lined streets.
